The HVACologist’s mission is to provide resources to help homeowners and industry professionals understand the fundamentals of building science and HVAC design. Our goal is to:
- Help homeowners achieve better comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.
- Teach mechanical design to homeowners and industry professionals.
- Improve residential designs by teaching building science fundamentals.
- Explain best practices for HVAC design.

About me
Anthony Marini, PE
Anthony is a Mechanical Engineer licensed in the state of Colorado. He graduated with a BSME from Colorado School of Mines in 2012 and has been designing residential HVAC systems for over 8 years. To date, the mechanical systems that he has designed have been installed in tens of thousands of homes all over the continental United States.
His goal is to design affordable and energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that provide a high level of thermal comfort and save people money.
